A 16x webinar funnel on a small budget.

You don't need a big spend to prove an offer. You need every step wired to the next one, and the discipline to measure all of it.

Two proofs, one winner.

A coaching client had a new paid webinar and a modest budget to test it with. Not "let's see what happens" money. Real money, from a real business, with no appetite for waste.

The temptation with a small budget is to spend it all on ads and hope the rest works out. We did the opposite. Most of the first week went into the path the ad led to, because a webinar funnel is five things pretending to be one, and the ad is only the first.

The five things

One, the registration page: a single promise, one form, no menu. Two, the reminder sequence: email and SMS, the day before, the morning of, one hour before, with the link in every message. Three, the live event, which was hers to run. Four, the follow-up for people who registered and didn't show, with the replay and a reason to watch it today. Five, the offer sequence afterwards, five emails over seven days, each one answering a real objection we'd heard on calls.

Every step was tracked. Registration, attendance, replay views, clicks on the offer, sales. When something underperformed, we knew which of the five it was, and fixed that one.

What happened

The campaign returned 16x on the test budget. The ads were fine. What made the number was the attendance rate from the reminders and the replay follow-up, which picked up people who would otherwise have vanished. Those two steps probably doubled the result, and they cost nothing in ad spend.

The honest caveat

Small budgets mean small sample sizes. We'd never promise 16x to anyone. What we'd promise is that if the five steps are wired and measured, you'll know exactly what the offer is worth, and the next budget decision will be made on data instead of nerves.
