The Strategy Room

The plan before the build, from someone who does the building.

Marketing consulting and strategy for founders, business owners and coaches. Offer, funnel, channels, budget and sequence, worked out with someone who builds the things she recommends, week in and week out.

Why a strategist who builds

Advice is cheap when the person giving it never has to make it work.

Most marketing strategy comes from people who hand you a deck and leave. The Strategy Room is different because every recommendation is something we've built, run or placed for a real client, and would happily build for you next week.

That changes the advice. It gets specific. It gets realistic about time and budget. And it comes with the awkward truths a slide deck leaves out.

Offer and positioning

What you sell, to whom, at what price, and why it beats the alternative in one sentence.

Funnel and customer journey

The path from stranger to client, with the gaps named and the fixes ranked by payoff.

Channels and budget

Where to show up, what to spend, what to expect back, and what to ignore for now.

Sequence and priorities

What to do first, second and third, so the next 90 days are decided before they start.

What the plan looks like sample
What the plan looks like

One page. Priorities in order, each with a reason and a number.

The Clarity Session ends with a written plan, not a recording you have to mine for answers. What to do first, what to leave alone, what each move should cost and what it should return.

Two ways to work together

One session when you need a decision. A retainer when you need a thinking partner.

Both are paid engagements with a written plan at the end, and both close with a clear answer about whether one of the other doors is the right next step, with no obligation to walk through it.

One-off

The Clarity Session

Ninety minutes on a call, prepared from a short intake and a look at your numbers, offer and current setup. You leave with a one-page plan in order of priority and a recording of the whole conversation.

  • Pre-call review of your offer, funnel and numbers
  • 90-minute working session, recorded
  • One-page priority plan within 48 hours
  • Two weeks of email follow-up for questions
Ongoing

Advisory

A monthly seat in The Strategy Room. Two calls a month, a shared plan that stays current, and a direct line for the decisions that come up between calls. For owners who want a marketing lead in the room without hiring one.

  • Two strategy calls a month, recorded
  • Living 90-day plan, reviewed every call
  • Direct access between calls for quick decisions
  • Review of campaigns, pages and copy before they go live
How a clarity session runs

From enquiry to plan in under a week.

The preparation is what makes ninety minutes enough. By the time we're on the call we already know your numbers and have questions ready.

Day 1

Enquire and confirm

Send the form or book a connect call. We confirm the fee, take payment and send a short intake about your offer, your numbers and what you're trying to decide. Links to your pages and ad accounts if you have them.

Days 2 to 3

Review

We go through everything before we speak. Pages, funnel, follow-up, ads, pricing. The call starts with findings, not introductions.

Day 4

The session

Ninety minutes, recorded. We decide what matters, what doesn't, and in what order. You'll be asked hard questions kindly.

Within 48 hours

The plan

One page. Priorities in order, each with a reason, an estimate of effort and what it should move. Yours to act on with us or without us.

A good fit if you

  • Have a business that works and a decision you keep circling
  • Are about to spend on ads, a rebuild or a hire and want a second opinion first
  • Want a plan written down, not just a good conversation
  • Would rather hear the honest version than the comfortable one

Probably not yet if you

  • Haven't chosen what you sell or who you sell it to
  • Want someone to agree with a plan you've already made
  • Need the work done rather than the direction set (that's the other doors)
  • Are looking for a free audit (we don't do those, on purpose)

Investment

Paid, fixed fee for the session. Flat monthly fee for advisory.

The Clarity Session is a single fixed fee, paid before the session. Advisory is a flat monthly fee, month to month after an initial three months, because a plan needs at least one quarter to show whether it's working. To get the fee for either, complete the enquiry form or book a connect call, and we'll confirm the number and a time within one business day.

If you go on to build with Leading4WD within 30 days, the session fee comes off the project. The strategy isn't a sales pitch for the other doors, but it shouldn't cost extra if you walk through one.
Is this the same as a free discovery call?
No. The 20-minute connect call is free and is about fit. The Clarity Session is a paid, prepared, 90-minute working session that produces a written plan. Book the connect call or send the enquiry form, and we'll confirm the fee and a time.
Do I have to use Leading4WD for the build afterwards?
No. The plan is written so your own team, another agency or a VAverse placement can act on it. Plenty of clients do exactly that.
What if my question is about a single channel, like Meta ads?
That's a good use of a session. Bring the account and the numbers and we'll go deep on that one thing rather than wide across everything.
Can advisory include my team?
Yes. Your marketing lead, VA or ops person is welcome on the calls. The plan works better when the people doing the work hear the reasoning first hand.

Ready to know exactly what to do next?

Bring the numbers, the offer and the half-finished plans. You'll leave with priorities you trust and a reason for every one of them.
